What We Manage Between Requirement and Delivery

Nexera Food Trade structures and coordinates international food transactions across sourcing, specification, commercial terms, documentation, payment and shipment execution.

Each enquiry is managed as a commercial case through one connected trade platform, giving buyers, suppliers and representatives a clear view of the process and responsibilities.

From first enquiry to recurring supply program.

Core capabilities

One Trade Process. Multiple Capabilities.

Sourcing & Supply Development

We work with producers, processors, manufacturers, exporters and existing supply partners to identify commercially suitable supply options.

Supply is evaluated against product specification, origin, capacity, documentation and destination-market requirements.

Specification & Quality Alignment

Product grade, composition, moisture, tolerances, packaging, labelling, shelf life and inspection requirements are clarified before final commercial commitment.

Where required, certificates, analysis reports or inspection conditions form part of the transaction documentation.

Supplier Qualification

Company, facility, product capability, certifications and export experience may be reviewed according to the needs and risk profile of the transaction.

Qualification requirements vary by product and destination.

Commercial Structuring

We coordinate the following so that all parties work from the same defined commercial framework:

  • Product and quantity
  • Incoterm and pricing basis
  • Packaging and tolerances
  • Inspection
  • Delivery period
  • Contractual responsibilities

Documentation Coordination

Depending on the product and destination, this may include:

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Certificate of origin and analysis
  • Phytosanitary documentation
  • Health or sanitary documentation where applicable
  • Inspection and insurance documents
  • Transport documents

Documents are coordinated according to the requirements of the transaction, destination and agreed payment structure.

Payment & Trade Finance Structuring

Depending on the parties and risk profile, transaction structures may include:

  • Letters of Credit
  • Documentary Collection
  • Advance / balance structures
  • Secured payment structures
  • Approved open-account arrangements
  • Other trade-finance mechanisms where available

The payment method is agreed per transaction and may depend on credit, bank, country and counterparty conditions.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

We coordinate the shipment plan according to product, packaging, route and Incoterm. Depending on the transaction, this may include:

  • Container planning
  • Bulk or palletised shipment
  • Flexitank or drum programs
  • Port selection and loading coordination
  • Inspection scheduling and documentation timing
  • Shipment status follow-up and arrival coordination

Specialist logistics partners may execute parts of the process.

Private Label & Packaging

For selected products, Nexera can coordinate private-label and packaging programs between buyers, manufacturers and packers. This may include:

  • Packaging format and pack sizes
  • Label requirements
  • Artwork coordination
  • Destination-market requirements
  • Production planning
  • Repeat-order programs

Availability depends on product, manufacturer and order volume.

Market & Supply Program Development

Nexera can work with buyers and suppliers to develop new commercial programs rather than limiting activity to individual transactions. This may include:

  • New destination markets
  • New supplier origins
  • Recurring purchase programs
  • Seasonal programs
  • Retail and private-label opportunities
  • Selected spot opportunities
Process

From Requirement to Execution

  1. 01

    Requirement

The buyer sends the product, specification, volume, packaging, destination and required delivery period. If the requirement is incomplete, the trade desk helps structure it.

  2. 02

    Supply Assessment

Relevant supply options are reviewed against specification, origin, capacity, certifications and commercial requirements.

  3. 03

    Structured Offer

A commercial offer is prepared with the applicable specification, origin, price basis, Incoterm, payment terms, lead time and key conditions.

  4. 04

    Contract & Transaction Structure

The parties confirm contract terms, payment mechanism, inspection requirements, documentation responsibilities and delivery conditions.

  5. 05

    Execution

Production or allocation, documentation, inspection, logistics and agreed payment milestones are coordinated.

  6. 06

    Delivery & Follow-Up

Shipment status, arrival and required completion documents are followed through the commercial process. Where appropriate, the successful transaction becomes the basis for the next shipment or recurring supply program.

Platform capability

A Trade Platform Behind Every Commercial Case

Nexera's operating platform connects the commercial process behind each enquiry. Depending on user role and transaction stage, the system supports:

RFQ Management

Structured buyer requirements and product specifications.

Offers & Deal Tracking

Commercial offers, negotiations and transaction stages.

Document Control

Centralised commercial and shipment documentation.

Communication

Buyer, supplier and representative communication connected to the commercial case.

Portal Visibility

Relevant users can follow enquiries, offers, documents, deals and shipment information through their portal.

AI-Assisted Workflow

AI-supported tools help structure enquiries, classify information, prepare internal analysis and support workflow efficiency. AI assists the process; it does not replace commercial responsibility.

Why this matters

Why Integrated Execution Matters

International food transactions can fail even when the product and price are correct. Problems often arise from details that sit between agreement and delivery.

  • Unclear specifications
  • Mismatched documents
  • Unsuitable payment structures
  • Packaging differences
  • Late inspections
  • Logistics timing
  • Unclear responsibilities

Nexera's role is to bring these elements into one coordinated process before they become transaction problems.

Working with specialists

Coordinated Through Nexera. Executed With the Right Specialists.

Nexera manages the commercial case and may work with qualified external specialists where required. The objective is one coordinated transaction, even when several specialist parties are involved.

  • Inspection companies
  • Laboratories
  • Logistics providers
  • Customs professionals
  • Banks and trade-finance providers
  • Insurance partners
  • Local commercial representatives
